Thanks to @lamnatos I&#39;ve totally revamped my RSS feed workflow! I&#39;m using pikapod to host FreshRSS. The FreshRSS web interface is fine on desktop (I sometimes forget to use Newsflash), but on my phone, I&#39;m using Capy Reader. Totally different tools since like last week, but amazing experience, and a big upgrade for me. Plus, I think I&#39;ll wind up saving $12/year...

I just finished Peter Guralnick&#39;s &quot;Looking to Get Lost: Adventures in Music and Writing,&quot; which was great. But the best part was it sent me down the Sun Records rabbit hole. I buy some of their stuff on Bandcamp, but I grabbed the Sun Records Collection from Rhino, and man it&#39;s good. Especially the blues stuff. I&#39;m going to hit the Bandcamp hard, in a few days!

I watched Come Feel Me Tremble, the Paul Westerberg doc (from 2003!) last night. So good! And it fascinates me that he and Bob Mould, both from MN, tour without backing bands (not that Paul tours anymore :-( ). I love an electric guitar and voice, though. It&#39;s all you need for great songs.

I just finished the Cameron Crowe memoir, which was fun. One of my big takeaways was Lee Michaels, though, who wasn&#39;t on my radar even a little bit. I&#39;m loving the music.

Joel Sherman had a lovely story about John Sterling and Michael Kay in today&#39;s column. Sherman&#39;s mom died in 1998 and he was worried about leaving his dad alone, so be brought him on the road with him. But Sherman wanted his dad to have company during the games. So he asked John and Michael Kay if he could sit in the radio booth. And they both said yes! https://archive.is/Nwfw0

I had no idea Sugar reunited. I was listening to Copper Blue and it&#39;s so good. I didn&#39;t appreciate them at the time. Bob Mould is so good.

In general, I try not to be judgmental (don&#39;t ask me my batting average...), but I&#39;m working out of a coffee shop this morning, eavesdropping on two white collar workers talking about AI. The upshot is they&#39;re using tools they don&#39;t understand to build tools they don&#39;t understand. As a lazy person, I&#39;m very comfortable with removing friction, but sometimes it sounds like people are abdicating autonomy for reasons I&#39;d like to understand more...

I heard a Dylan song I didn&#39;t know on a local college station. I called the booth for an ID, which I&#39;ll sometimes do when I hear something I like, and the guy who answers the phone today says he&#39;s too busy and can&#39;t take calls. But then he also says the show is pre-recorded, and he has no idea what songs are playing, so I&#39;m super curious what he was busy doing and why he picked up the phone. The song was &quot;Changing of the Guards,&quot; btw...
