#Vietnam was hit hard by the strike on #Iran: people stranded in the Middle East, not able to return after Tet aka New Year’s. The region also relies on fossil fuel energy imports from the region. I missed a paper submission deadline because I was sick, there was just no bodily capacity. If the stomach flu hits you, you are knocked out, this always amazes me. That’s one effective way to curb the academic drive for ever more “contributions”
