After weeks of struggling to bootstrap it, I have successfully written a configuration file for a 16-year old Lenovo Atom netbook with #Guix and deployed changes to it with the deploy utility. Lots of problems stood in the way, but cross-building packages from x86_64 to i686 gave me a lot of opportunities to learn from. I will have a blog post talking more about this in the coming days. Now, was there any major point to all this? Nope, it's purely for fun.
