  @dawgeth@social.lol My other half has been doing keto for 3-4 months now, and the voices and snacks have been a real bitch. I'm so proud of him - but there's honestly no way I would have that strength. Life is just too overwhelming to me.

  So even though we initially did not make the 'it' list for a steam machine, we did get in today - bought and paid for. The husband and the kiddo are both very excited. We were already either going to get a new PC or this, and we already use the steam deck every single day for years now (we have an OG one) so for our multi-gamer family, this is a good choice, despite the VERY high price tag. A new PC would have been just as costly (if not more).

  I know absolutely nothing about this watercolour paper sketch book (there's no makers marks on it at all), it's probably 30+ years old, my MIL gave it to me when she passed. I figured she would want me to actually USE it, and not just stare at it, so..... use it I shall! #artist #practice

  It is a holiday here today, and the last day I get to spend immersed in #EQL before RL decides to interrupt, let's see what level I can get to! I *think* I have 'settled' (loosely used here) on a paladin / rogue / beastlord. Currently at level 27. Still have a guild going on the Halas server for this interested, we have a few active members! I'm Stargraze in game, give me a nudge.

  I had bought a 10m roll of Baohong cold press watercolour paper off of Temu, and fully expected some sort of mishap, because come on, Temu - but - was VERY pleasantly surprised. Now I can cut pieces to whatever size I want instead of wasting bits.

  One huge QoL that is a bit hidden that I recommend folks handle in #EQL as you level up - set your loot filters. When the /advloot window pops up, right click where the name is on the item, and you have many future options. Want to change it later? Click the filters button. It's SO nice.

  Played some more #EQL last night - learned you actually do not get any more xp being in a +4 vs. a +0, so unless you're farming gear.... just stick to the +0, it's MUCH faster and easier to kill things, and you'll level up a billion times faster (unless you really want to challenge yourself and level slower). Didn't actually know this, whewps. Suppose I could have done some research first..

  The husband has a Delta Green (TTRPG) group starting up on Saturdays, and he's so excited. I love to see it! It's not my genre, but I'm hoping maybe we can get another weekly / biweekly group going for something else that I can be a part of. ^^

  The husband is off for the next 4 days, and besides some chores to get done I imagine a lot of EQL is in our future. ^^ So far I'm an 18 Paladin / Wizard / Beastlord and enjoying it quite a bit.

  My writing prompt for today asked about something that I played when growing up that I don't see kids nowadays playing - and I went with Kick the Can, and Wall Ball. No idea if kids actually do still play these games, it could just be my location, but I haven't seen anyone playing them in ages.
