@NorcalGma2@sfba.social The helplessness feeling is hard on people when they have to depend upon others. I know my late wife mentioned how guilty she felt at having to step back and let me take over house chores. I told her I didn't mind at all, but she still felt bad about it.

In it he describes how he grew up in the right wing party, his father a dedicated NAZI. So somewhat naturally he bought in also, and served in the war. He still bought into the propaganda after the war until a friend of his took him to the site of one of the extermination camps. Seeing that for himself, he finally...

@ufofeed@channels.im That's a nice image, one of my favorite star targets. I don't have equipment capable of star photography. So I use images out of the Harvard/Smithsonian MicroObservatory archive. I've put together my own processing software that works with the #MicroObservatory format, and here is my effort of stacking some of their photos of #M13.
