Today I moved my website from vercel to statichost.eu it feels so nice to finally be off that locked-down Zionist platform. I am glad I had the common sense a few years ago to build my site using Astro, not NextJS. otherwise this move would have been way more difficult. #foss

I am convincing an older friend to get into the fediverse/smallweb. but they&#39;re missing the recipe ideas and parenting tips they&#39;re used to on facebook. My favorite hobby category is tracking things. I like tracking movies I watch, books I read, music I listen to, plants &amp; animals I encounter, birds I see/hear. I do most of this on proprietary, closed source software. but I will soon move it to my own website or self-host it on my home server. #selfhosting #hobbies #foss
