    Meet Malik El Arab Al-Zubeyda. Yes, that&amp;#39;s his actual name. We adopted him, so no, we didn&amp;#39;t choose it. Malik is a Saluki: technically a dog, functionally a cat. 23 hours a day draped across the sofa. Silent. Elegant. Deeply uninterested in your commands. On his walk he transforms into a long-range missile. Off lead, it&amp;#39;s mostly fine. But the moment he spots a hare, a wild boar, or a field full of bulls, you stop existing. Very loving.
