Still improving my xteink x4 ebook reader setup, setup a komga ebook media server docker and connected it with the XTEINK reader to sync ebooks. Small write up about it for future KB. #exteink #ebook #komga #epub https://solariz.de/posts/26/04-xteink-local-epub-server/

All that fuzz about copy Fail exploit.... Just checked. None of my servers or systems are vunerable to it. Even the 24.04 are already patched. That's how it should be. And tbh. running a system with user login and not updating it for years... you deserve no better:)

btw. I n ever though so but changing my main font config to a monospace font (Fira Code Nerd Font) improved readability and overall text lenght preception for me imense. It take some time to get used to at the beginning, just from the look and feel, but I find it much more pleasing this way. #linuxrice #kde #rice

Not sure who I read it from, but some days ago I read a posting about the older anime "Plastic Little." I just watched it over the weekend and have to say, I liked it. Yeah, there are some "secondhand embarrassment" scenes, as is typical in some 90s anime, but I love the drawing style and overall, it’s a nice short story. #anime #tv #90ties

If you code with LLMs on larger code basis I recommend you to have a look at MinishLab/semble a micro embed llm for searching codebases with JIT indexing. You basically run a: `semble search "the string I want to find" ./codebase/` And semble returns in seconds LLM readable results with file and line positions and short code excempt around each found match. This save tons of tokens due not parsing or manually grep the whole codebase. https://github.com/MinishLab/semble #l...

Parsing through recent released #Anime Titles makes me sad. So much #Isekai stuff, where are all those glorious new Ideas. Original Universes, well written good stories... Unfortunately, much of it degenerates into excessive action, cringe main chars and a bland, homogenous content. :( any recommendations?

Today I found out about Tuba - a Linux desktop client for Mastodon. Ok it is not Qt but runs totally fine for me. It is way more clean then the default fully cluttered mess of a Mastodon Webpage. Can recommend: https://tuba.geopjr.dev/ #tuba #mastodon #linux
