  watching an old documentary on body modifications to make people look more animalistic and the narrator being like "she wants to live her life with leopard spots even though she's never seen a leopard in real life." Like. You don't have to have stood next to your kintype to have a connection to it so that felt like a very bizzare argument to make :wolf_laff:

  wild to me how they just enacted a new requirement for food stamps in my area, you must be working 30h a week or making 217 dollars a week, but you can't make too much money or you don't qualify. They found a way to cut the budget it seems by fucking over the people the most in need, as per usual (the unemployed and unhoused). I hope people realize that and turn that around very quickly, its scary to watch things go downhill even in a more 'liberal' area.

  My doctor reccomended that I do a low-carb diet for health reasons,was wondering if anyone has recipes in this vein they really like? I like to cook a lot so I'm down for things that seem a bit more experimental!
