    Well, today&amp;#39;s going to be fun. Electric company has a planned power outage for five hours, to deal with trees versus power lines. No telly for me! (Hope the mobile masts¹ are on an independent circuit.) Ideal test for #meshtastic if I didn&amp;#39;t have the only node in a dozen mile radius 🙄 ¹Cellphone towers.

    Oh yes, big thing about Google enshittifying the web even further. The main link cited is techcrunch which says &amp;quot;something has gone wrong&amp;quot; because I have an ad blocker. Well, yes. Quite. Just not in the way you mean.

    Everywhere I look... There&amp;#39;s a meshtastic app that someone&amp;#39;s now using AI to develop. There&amp;#39;s someone I know personally working on another app and now using AI. On a retro games group someone uses AI to make a musical tribute to the chiptune makers back in the day. A *tribute*??? I grew up with friends who learnt coding the hard way. At the time the *only* way: swap tricks, read magazines and books, figure how others did it, figure it out ourselves. We *learnt*.
