<p>I mostly post random images that I find in digital archives. There's no theme or purpose, although they are obviously topics I am interested in. Some of the images are chosen for aesthetics, some for documentary/historical value (in my lonely judgment). I won't flood anyone's timeline.</p>

RE: https://mastodon.ie/@sk76/112909260601408055 I just twigged the moral. Previously I thought it was still talking about baseball, and that the "Main" was the field (or village green or whatever). Instead it's saying baseball is a metaphor for the pursuits of the British Empire - "the Main" being, duh, the high seas.
