@actuallyautistic@a.gup.pe I just did that autistic thing again, where I present facts to someone, FYI style, trying to offer some help and guidance - without realising that they did not ask me for help, nor were they ready to accept said facts. Then to make it worse - I did another autistic thing again, where when they respond with anger, but sarcastically - I just think they are joking. How am I supposed to know they're angry when they look like they're smiling? So, my response...

@midtsveen@social.linux.pizza I think for us non-Americans, it was easy to dismiss it as just crazy over the top America again. We got the headlines, but didn't know just how much push back and keeping him on the rails there was behind the scenes, from other politicians and institutions. Though I don't think most Americans did either, since they voted again. But... it isn't actually even Donald Trump. He's not the leader, but just a useful idiot. He was brought in to be the figur...
