  I upgraded my GVP A1230 accelerator card from the 90’s, with 32MB of fast RAM. The 1200 has been recapped with solid polymers, given a new case and keycaps, the PSU swapped out for a Meanwell and a printed case, the RAM is probably the last part of the refurb. Though I do have a 50MHz 68030 that I could fit in place of the 40MHz 68EC030… #retrocomputing #amiga #amiga1200

  We’re currently watching the box set of Batman ‘66, and I came to the conclusion that Alfred is actually the kingpin of Gotham City. The mastermind behind it all.   What the actual frack was I thinking when I ordered the Amiga B2000 motherboard. For scale, it’s next to the Dark Connection LP (as in old school 12” vinyl) and there’s also a CD case by it too.   Got one untested and one “working” #Amiga A500 mainboards to provide donor chips for my B2000 reproduction. The “untested” board, a Rev5, is indeed faulty and green screens on power up. The “working” Rev6a board powers up, boots from floppy (and also after moving CIA’s around), audio is good, and the mouse port works. More diagnostics needed, but it’s a healthy start. I’ve transferred the chips from the bad board to the good one, one at a time, starting with Fat Angus, and everything carried o...
