I realised a little while ago that I never actually watched the “V” miniseries from the 80s, and I decided to rectify that. All I can say is, wow. It looks dated, but quite good for the time. And it’s not subtle at ALL. It doesn’t leave any room for anyone to argue that it’s not a blatant warning AGAINST fascism, couched in sci-fi trappings.

zombocom’s domain was bought on or around February 8th, and replaced with what appears to be an AI slop generated page with an AI slop song. I am very sad now.

Is it my imagination, or is so much software recently just… kinda jankier these days? So many things just seem like they’re shipping stuff that’s “close enough.”
