I got a picture with four of the five #Nottingham Ice Centre companies. They were all lined up nicely for me. My favourite one is just out of shot though, unfortunately!

The new skatepark was quite cheap for the tax payer (largely funded by grants) and quick to set up. Hopefully giving the youth of #Nottingham a mostly-free hobby to pour their energies into. One of my favourite friends got into playing ice hockey and it was very fun watching this whole thing unfold: https://aaronsplace.co.uk/blog/2026-04-12-the-hockey-lessons.html It made me think about my skating journey. I&#39;m thinking of getting to level 8 in Skate UK, and then I&#39;ll think about switching to hockey.

Today&#39;s Briefing article is a review of the Andy Warhol exhibition; I was yapping a bit and the audio file got to 5.06Mb. The limit for my site was 5Mb! I&#39;ve decided to bump up the Ghost account to be able to upload more. Bonus: I&#39;ve been able to add a supporter tier to the website, if anyone would like to subscribe. You&#39;ll be helping cover the cost of the news room, and improving how much can be covered. (No pressure - the project isn&#39;t very expensive....
