  Well, I’m now looking for a job. I’ve done software engineering work for the past 12 years, most recently c/c++, but c# previously. I’d love to stay in the embedded world, as it is very satisfying to see projects come to life. I also know enough Python to get into trouble, and am a quick learner. #getfedihired #fediJobs

  Fuck. New shower started leaking behind the shower head. Floor under the shower pan is wet and there is water in the basement.

  Looks like I’ll be replacing my iPhone 16 Pro Max with a Pixel 10 Pro, undecided if I’ll do a XL or not. I HATE 26, it is so buggy, and looks terrible. Pretty sure I’ll install GrapheneOS on it also.

  @tim Are you running Google’s Pixel OS, or did you flash something else? I’m looking at Graphene because I don’t trust Google Privacy.

  Checked out both the Pixel 10 Pro and Galaxy Ultra 26. The Galaxy was way lighter than I was expecting, and felt super nice, but I’m not sure I trust both Samsung and Google. The Pixel felt solid, and very iPhone-esc, plus I can do Graphene.

  I think one of the biggest challenges to switching from iOS to Android will be the loss of so many fantastic iOS apps, and the developers that make them.

  Got out for my first #MTB ride of the season. Trails were fast and dry unless it was a wet spot. It was great to get out but it was rough, it’s been months since I’ve been on the bike.

  Unplanned, but Ashley decided to upgrade her bike today. She’s had a 20yr old Diamondback “cruiser” thing and it’s not the greatest bike. She picked out a nice Trek Marlin on sale. Maybe I’ll be able to get the entire family on the bike trails this summer. #MTB
