    @jlink@det.social it took me a while you weren’t referring to “The Third Policeman” by Flann OBrian. Looks like I have some reading to do.

    @kevlin@mastodon.social the GDS did a lot of good work on making sure their systems are as accessible as possible. They have a story somewhere about how a homeless teenager managed access with a discarded PlayStation.

    @marick@mstdn.social @logosity@discuss.systems which is amazing considering it was a student film with no budget at all.

    @mikebroberts@hachyderm.io the iPlayer is also showing smiley’s people. Tremendous production. And, interestingly, so much slower than modern dramas. I also noticed how close everything looks on a big screen because it was filmed for smaller CRT TVs. And everyone smokes.

    @n1vux@mastodon.radio @marick@mstdn.social @MonaApp@mastodon.social time to re-run the laugh-ins. It was such a strong cast.

    @mikebroberts@hachyderm.io currently working through the old leCarré dramatizations from the 70s with Alec Guinness on the BBC. Extremely slow but riveting. Also, everyone smokes all the time.
