  My son (who does not run, outside of soccer practice) won our unofficial race this morning during the Airport Runway Run. I ran the 10km with a 10 minute head start on his 5km. He met his goal of a sub-30, beating me across the line today 😊 #running

  @Amdev@mastodon.social yep, I have a Bambu X1C, so printing the hilt isn’t a concern. But of course I kinda want to design something myself to add a layer of complexity/personal ownership to it. I also have an airbrush that I haven’t played with as well, so throw that into the mix. 😂

  @Amdev@mastodon.social my sister got me the Adafruit build your own lightsaber kit that I’m working up to 😅 https://www.adafruit.com/product/4860 Need to figure out if I want a specific in-universe design or go my own way. Thinking about maybe doing a large LEGO Lightsaber for easy modeling. I’ve also bought some RFID readers and Kyber crystals use to change the blade colors as if the basic project wasn’t enough 😄

  Alright, first small soldering project complete! Built a useless box 😄 I feel like I missed out on tinkering with electronics earlier in life, so taking some small steps now to build up my confidence for more intricate projects in the future.

  As long and awful as January felt, I get to enjoy the day today and take the next hour and a half to sit down and read a book while I wait for my son and his friends as they celebrate his 13th birthday by playing VR games at the mall 🙂 Happy Birthday buddy 🎂
