man. I miss the Acer Ezel hinge laptops, the concept was so neat and it's like. the perfect way to handle a 2-in-1 laptop for me. Yes I don't like the idea of my keyboard sitting flat on a surface or pushing into my hands while I cradle it. Also just the perfect way to get the ideal angle for whatever you need... would be a cool idea to try again for digital artists, let folks get that perfect angle while still having a proper laptop machine with the power and flexibility that provides.

For the zero people who will know and/or care, are there any decent non-NodeJS static site generators that don't condone the use of code generative agents? I can't find any clear policy on Hugo (would be nice since. y'know. oh no... so for #MorshuTalk_Go I might have to implement a graphene to phoneme implementation by scratch, I need to check go packages but there might not be one... fun. that'll make things a bit more annoying, but I guess if it's reliable enough I could publish it as its own package? but then I'm the maintainer for it...

Yeah I've decided. I'm going to (very slowly) learn Golang for the sole purpose of re-creating #MorshuTalk but in a language that isn't going to break every annual update and require hyperspecific versions and venv's and shit. soooo uhh, I guess hashtag for this project is going to be #MorshuTalk_Go now? not like anything will exist for the time being. also yes there is now a repository for it as if there is anything but a license and the README.

so it's very trivial for me to install gotosocial on my Chromebook (its only running localhost and its running with the binary since I can't be bothered to rig up a compose for me fucking around). fun to know that this is Possible. and Very Silly. i think it's really funny that i'm seeing a little more celebration over Argentina losing the world cup (as they apparently regularly cheat & get away with it bc FIFA loves Messi? idk the specifics) than celebrating that specifically Spain won.
