I’ve got a case where I’m executing an AppleScript app to control a brother label printer. Wondering if I should switch it to JavaScript.

That they’re remaking Highlander is almost as heinous as the remake of The Crow. Get some new ideas and make those. A Highlander reboot can’t bring what it did. And definitely can’t even approach the soundtrack.

Watched the Clough42 review of the new BambuLabs X2D. His reviews aren’t marketing and he does largely engineering material prints. But he puts it through its paces and it does well. But a Bowden extruder for the second extruder seems odd. It’s good for support material. For an extra $100 over the P2S the heated chamber might be worth it. But I’m still saving for my H2C. https://youtu.be/zISWzExjLlk?si=d7eJwq-bwTUvqtLu

I don't want to put a damper on Friday the 13th, but here’s a little history about Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon. The Templars. In 1307, a bankrupt French king Philip IV (the Fair) had control over the Pope Clement V (he was beholden to Philip). On October 13, 1307 things went bad for the Templars.

Tom Noonan who played The Tooth Fairy in Michael Mann’s Manhunter passed away this week at 74. This is one of my favorite movies and I still get chills when William Peterson, as Wil Graham says “You’ve seen these films, haven’t you my man.” https://apple.news/A0vouPDSES86HgWcwH4QpPg

Hands are really cold today. But my printer (which is right at my left shoulder) is printing ABS, so putting my hand on the glass makes them nice and toasty. 😁

struggled to figure out how to plug one more thing into a MacBook Pro with the ports already in use. Decided to punt and add ports to the Mac mini with a CalDigit TS5. It’s almost the same size as the mini.

BambuLabs has pretty incredible support. Placed an order at 11 last night and it shipped in two hours. And a few hours later I got an email saying that the vibration feet I bought were mispriced on the website $7.99 rather than $4.99 and that I was getting a refund. I thought the price was fair, so this was great.

RE: https://iosdev.space/@sanguish/116113173052234682 Oh boy, I was wrong. There were major omissions and a few hallucinations of things I never ordered. product numbers which were adjacent to the name were wrong. Some filaments I had never ordered were included, a couple were made up colors, and quite a few were missed when it went through the invoices. But the good news is that I went and did a hand inventory, so I now know which ones I’ve got, how many, their part number, and the hex color...
