I never met the guy. I got to know just a little of who he was through his file packets of negatives, though only when I was able to scan them in 2004. We did perhaps share something in perspective. This first shot was taken by my father in Sudan around 1940 - a small child holding a kid goat. Observational snapshooting, so I got to see what he saw.

@Tarnport I remember that skyview, and feeling frustrated I didn&#39;t have a wide enough lens to capture the effect. This has worked very well.
