  not that much has changed quality-wise since 1973 except that I guess lens coatings improved a lot. contrast against a light background is hugely better on the newer lenses despite being much more complex optical designs (see alt text for what's what) lumix gx80 body, raw processed in darktable with roughly the same exposure and filmic rgb settings, lens correction disabled, f2.8 or best available
