@aks I personally gave up on helix because some of the things I need in an editor (integrated terminal, file manager sidebar, global search and replace) were either not implemented or outright NACK'd from being in Helix. Also the development pace is very slow, and only the core devs can make big changes to the editor, there's supposed to be a plugin system in a lisp-y language, which I'm not a fan of, etc.

@aks No, I'm currently using Zed, as much as I hate their CLA garbage, and like a lot of editors they are focusing a lot on AI, but it's the least bad for me at this time since I need to get actual work done. I don't feel like with Helix I can get actual work done, at least not as efficiently, since I'm missing crucial things.

Using a walking pad because I live in the United States and I don't get the passive exercise of walking around everywhere :(

Can't wait for #postmarketos to feel daily drivable for me #linux #mobile Tokodon and NeoChat are probably some of the closest apps I have to having a proper mobile experience, so kudos! (Wish that zed worked on here, but I think it needs glibc)

While Fedora will contain tagged updates only, nightly #cosmic updates will continue to be made at my copr: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/ryanabx/cosmic-epoch/ I don't plan on stopping the builds and won't even consider it until at least 1.0.0

Friday #fedora #COSMIC update: All the COSMIC packages are APPROVED! It's been just over a 6 month long journey, even longer if you count me working on the packages pre-review. Everything should be available in Fedora 42, and is coming soon to Fedora 41, see https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-f142c96f6f The next step is creating comp groups for Fedora COSMIC, and then proposing a spin! Exciting times
