Goedemorgen allemaal! Ik bekeek laatst wat oude foto's en toen begon het weer te kriebelen: ik zou graag weer wat meer analoog/op film willen gaan fotograferen. Nu is het alweer een aantal jaar geleden dat ik dit heb gedaan, dus vandaar de vraag: waar laten jullie je film ontwikkelen en scannen? So... My plan to build a Linux laptop for my mom didn't go exactly as I hoped, BUT: my mom is using Linux, and she's very happy with it! 😄 I had an elaborate plan prepared to install Debian root on ZFS, setup remote access, automated snapshots, remote backups, etc. See my two previous polls for the idea; thanks again for your valuable help! Hi friends, I could use your input! My mom has asked me to install Linux on her laptop, which distro should I pick? - Dell Latitude 7320 Intel Core i7-Gen 11 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD - Has to be stable, good hardware support - Sysadmin tasks will be performed (remotely) by me, so doesn't have to be "beginner friendly" per se in that area (she won't be added to the wheel group 😅) - Support for Xfce desktop (I guess most distros have that) - Ideally support for encrypted root on ZFS N...
