I&#39;ve been working on a new thing! It&#39;s a re-write of #memoir in Lua, a photo album generator to share images with friends and family when you don&#39;t want to rely on cloud solutions. In contrast to #ocular, memoir creates complete photo albums that support basic layouts and markdown, has a navigable tree structure and convenient multi-language support. #theWorkshop

I found a fairly cheap Cousances cast iron pan from the early 1900s in very good condition and it&#39;s perfect. This will be one to pass down to the grandchildren. After a long and annoying journey, my new music player is a used 6th gen iPod classic with a new 128GB SSD harddrive. @occult Hey, I was just thinking that it might be useful for people if I added a way to easily migrate an existing gallery to ocular so they don&#39;t have to start from scratch or re-add all images manually. It&#39;s simple for images, as long as they are all in one directory. Captions and tags are a bit trickier though. I am pondering how I would build it. Since you already have your gallery in place, what would you need ocular to be able to parse and easily migrate the text data? A si...

On another note, #ocular now automatically paginates entries with a lot of pictures, so the webring page doesn&#39;t (lazy) load over 1000 images at once - hooray! Also feeds are now stored locally and only downloaded if they changed on the server.

I have this nice heavy travel bag, but it&#39;s short strap makes it hard to carry around when it&#39;s full. I&#39;m considering adding shoulder straps. I have a sewing awl, a roll of strong yarn and some basic sewing experience. Before I start, does anyone have tips for me? #theWorkshop
