When writing tests, mocks with default behaviours, are very convenient for writing tests that fail to catch when you accidentally introduce bugs, or even fail to catch bugs when the tests were originally written. This post brought to you by a day of trouble shooting &quot;well tested&quot; code. And furthermore, I think it&#39;s important to understand what you&#39;re doing.

Functions that do different things depending on context. I call them Janus functions, after the Roman god. They can add hours of entertainment when learning an unfamiliar code base.

Damned. I&#39;m watching a Norwegian show. As a Swede, it works fine. There are things I don&#39;t get, but usually context helps and I&#39;m in sync again. And then a Danish character turns up, and I&#39;m lost. Sorry Danes. It&#39;s not you. I&#39;m just sad that I find it so hard to understand your spoken language, especially when reading it is normally not very hard at all.

When I was still in Uni, a professor of economics began making headlines with his thoughts about quality. I liked this a lot, until I realized that he mostly talked about how to can get away with not offering quality. Recent software upgrades reminds me of him.

Breaking! New efficiency breakthrough in sorting algorithms: Faithsort is O(1) for any data. faithsort(elements) Blesses the sequence of elements as being sorted. You must have faith, otherwise it does not work. If you do have faith, you may try to find the criteria used, but it is futile for mere mortals to try to find the divine order of things.
