A two minute piece on gaslighting - here is part one #lgbtq #gaslighting #bbc #radio4 part one

When I spoke to a whistleblower, she told me what happened to me at BBC was a similar path - last night, I realised it was basically being gaslit by the anti trans activist close to the show up to and including the old “oh dear, we think you are mentally ill” and inviting people that targeted you to a small party meant to celebrate the show - I think that’s why it still burrows into my skin - it was a long list over 5 years

RE: https://chaos.social/@jonty/116986573838912999 Having my heart torn out all over again with Monkey Cage reboot, seems a good time to share this talk from #emfcamp a few weekends back - I wish I’d talked more about anti trans gaslighting that was relentless used against me and both supported and encouraged from some around the show , but I will soon

deleted all the Monkey Cage stuff - having had no prior warning until I saw the announcement of it on a news site, it was a huge shock - let me use this time instead to say - it’s Bandcamp Friday and Rachel and me offer you new poetry and music https://normallyweirdassociates.bandcamp.com/album/the-final-den #poetry #music #bandcamp

I am sorry for all the people who will be damaged by the shitty discussions that will be generated by this . Just like the Age of Diagnosis, the creators are not presenting this in a vacuum - when the age of diagnosis was published - it generated many hostile conversations - an autistic woman who had finally decided to seek help and had since received an autistic diagnosis approached me in floods of tears . She felt like an impostor all over again.

Now that being dead is no longer and impediment to holding office in America, I wonder how many centuries the incontinent corpse of Donald Trump will rule the USA?

Thank you again to @emf@social.emfcamp.org - the three hour Q&A after my “talk” was delightful moving and inspiring - good, good people

RE: https://mastodon.social/@robinince/116892204899889351 The irony never leaves me that Monkey Cage would have gone to Audible if I hadn’t argued against it because I believed in public service broadcasting and free access being assured and the very person desperate for us to leave still makes their living at the bbc having cannily shoved me out

Off to @emf@social.emfcamp.org again - this time on the correct Sunday - hopefully milling around from 2pm and talking about why I left Monkey Cage and other things at 5pm. #science #comedy #poetry #lgbtq

Finding out about some of the lies being told about me within BBC and by former associates is one of the hardest things about taking a stand - it is such a crooked little world

I think I’m even more anti establishment than Nigel Farage but when I go to my bank statements I still don’t seem to have £5million payment from the anti establishment establishment and no emails from BBC’s Question Time to be the most established anti establishment guest either

Still very proud of The Infinite Monkey Cage - this was my final episode - recorded in Manchester - it helped me understand so many ideas of the universe (the negative things it helped me understand about human beings were off air) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002kjvk
