Here's your reminder that there's a Gren extension for Zed.

I thought it’d be interesting to talk about some of the design choices behind Gren. In this video I’m laying out my reasoning for not having Tuples in the language. Anything else you’d like me to talk about? https://youtu.be/Sl9HHo1qDk0?si=sltinbZ5YhmdCCtV

Just wanted to remind people that in 25 hours, @blaix and I will present some cool new features of the @gren_lang programming language. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6TVmM_664o

I’m so, so, so psyched for this! Lovecraft Investigations is one of my favorite podcasts, and I can’t see what they’ll with Call of Cthulhu. If you haven’t heard of it before, Lovecraft Investigations is a «true crime» like show told in a universe where Lovecraft’s stories happen in modern time. It is really, really good. https://www.backerkit.com/call_to_action/f9f745bf-18c6-43f3-95f8-5410ad61e193/landing?ref=cartoongravity.com

Fikk mail fra Aftenposten idag. Visstnok må jeg fra 27. mai betale for at jeg ikke skal få mer målrettet reklame. Så da har jeg ca. en måned igjen av abbonomentet mitt.

As is tradition at this point, I'll be hosting a live-stream on the saturday before a new Gren release. Surprise, surprise, that's the upcoming saturday 🥳 Which again means that a new Gren release will arrive at June 24th, one week from today. https://youtube.com/live/PO8_pV7r168?feature=share

Finally got around to document how task ports work in Gren: https://gren-lang.org/book/applications/ports/#task-ports Also added the fact that, starting monday, you'll be able to use Bytes in flags and ports.

If you're curious about Gren then I can heartily recommend @blaix 's Gren Twigs series on youtube. They're short (~5min) videos that gives you a nice introduction to what Gren is, and how to write it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MeIlSLD3h0&list=PLflA5Q354D42Zxi6KiLmNVNzQHINQ51U-

Just recorded a new video on the (future) language design of Gren. Topic this time is operators. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVGXLw8V4Z4

Just merged concurrent tasks into gren-lang/core, which makes it ready for the next major release in June. Andrew Macmurray did all the work on this one, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Together with task ports, I think Gren 25S is going to be a really cool release.

New Language Design video is out! Topic this time is why we’d like to compile Gren to WebAssembly, and how we’ll get there. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/OCpzEw4T5bA
