This story is wild. It hits all the right notes to describe what is wrong with how the Irish state builds and plans IT projects: - no state expertise or resources to build the system ourselves, or to oversee the external contractor - left to the last minute to update a critical system - didn't bake an overrun into the plan https://www.thejournal.ie/irish-rail-e50m-it-project-7103615-Jul2026/

The fact that mastodon quotes have to be approved by the original poster makes them more or less useless. You can't use them to object to the contents of the original post, or to critique it, because the OP can simply not allow the quote or delay the approval until the quoting post has dropped down the timeline.

Fair play to everyone at Munster who opposed this appointment and ensured that there continues to be no place in Irish rugby for sexual abuse. https://www.thejournal.ie/roger-randle-munster-4-7028147-Apr2026/
