In my quest to set up a server with a GPU, NVME drive &amp; 10Gb network card, not all of which I can easily fit in any of the servers here, if they even supported them, (all too old to know what an NVME drive even is) I bought a used motherboard from eBay. Not the most powerful, but plenty of PCI-E slots. So I need a case for it all. I thought I might have an unused mini-tower in the graveyard under my workbench, so went to have a look. Yep, I do. Just found a receipt from 2003 for some DDR RAM. 512MB for £50+VAT. And that was trade price. We might gripe about recent memory price rises, but it&#39;s easy to forget how much it cost just a bit further back..
