    I think my experiment of using an electric shaver, when traveling, to avoid buying razor blades (or checking a bag) is a failure. It has left my neck weird.

    An amenity I&amp;#39;d like to be able to check for in booking hotels: a normal-height desk-like surface with a normal desk chair. I get that most people might not want or care, but I keep ending up with a high side table with a really low slouchy chair, which is no good for programming at.

    I think my new policy is that after three boosted bad takes, I block boosts. Lots of people seem to boost terrible arguments that align with their feelings, even though they would never make these arguments from scratch. It bugs me too much to keep shrugging off.
