Saw Patrick Stewart live, performing Waiting For Godot with Ian McKellan and it was easily one of the best things I have ever seen. This one hurts. RIP captain.

My #WhoByNumbers box set has arrived, but alas, to justify the expense it has to be a Christmas present from my wife and she has dutifully whisked it away. No matter, I can wait another 8 weeks or so, and will enjoy delving into it on Christmas morning #TheWho

When everything feels like shit I have no energy for new music. I tend to revert to my comfort records. This shall pass, but until then The Beatles will keep me company. #TheBeatles #vinyl #VinylCommunity #NowPlaying

RE: https://sunny.garden/@revivalrecords/117530701600698168 The 2023 remixes on here are very good, it has to be said. Also, I haven’t put the time back on the oven yet so according to Oven Time™ I am allowed a glass of wine. 🍷

Still going, it’s a 6 record box set. I have been cooking in the mean while and I have to say this looks pretty damn good. #JonsCookingMusic #curry https://sunny.garden/@revivalrecords/117530824474102118

More comfort music. This is the only Go Betweens album we don’t have the original pressing of, and we still don’t. This is the 2026 re-release but hey, I’ve never really been about the pressing as long as it sounds good, and this sounds good. #vinyl #TheGoBetweens #VinylCommunity #NowPlaying

I have done the usual. Big box of Haribo purchased ‘just in case’ any kids come a knocking. They won’t come a knocking. They haven’t in over a decade. I now have some sweets. #HappyHalloween

Talking of #photography, does anybody know of a reputable photography course, preferably online/remote. I know quite a bit and read a lot about it, but I’d definitely benefit from being taught by somebody who knows what they are doing. There are a lot of fake/scam/worthless courses I know, so if anybody has any recommendations I’d appreciate it. #AskFedi

This week's #JukeboxFridayNight theme is #history. Perfect for my love of folk. Here we have The Diggers Song, or The World Turned Upside Down. I’ve chosen Dick Gaughan’s version, which is less angry than Billy Bragg’s but has a bit more gravitas I think. #DickGaughan #BillyBragg #Folk #FolkMusic "The World Turned Upside Down" by "Dick Gaughan" from the album "Handful of Earth" - listen here —> https://musiccloud.io/srEZGlmA More about The Diggers here if i...
