    The webfinger.js codebase has been modernized and prepared for more improvements by @slvrbckt with his latest release: https://github.com/silverbucket/webfinger.js/releases/tag/v2.8.0 The next release will include a security fix for developers wanting to use it directly on servers (instead of in browsers).
