RE: https://mastodon.social/@aphera/116488875628833989 This was a fun one to build. We wanted to do something that will feel natural in GUI as well as in cli/text environments.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@rudantu/116075662014211460 A excellent demo! Once you start looking, LR tends to lose saturation in the shadows and skin tones, leading to a muddy, lifeless feeling.

Love all the feedback we’re getting for @aphera, but now I’m back in build mode and not making photos to share. * rebuilt our entire camera suppprt system that catalogs 1000s of cameras * built a library for undo on top of the amazing @pointfreeco SQliteData. Undo for the whole app coming soon * tons of ux improvements coming up next

Donner Lake, a strange view with the low water line and lack of snow. Edited with @aphera We're lucky to have friends that live in Truckee and were able to stay a few days then bail before the massive snow storm hit one day later. #photography

RE: https://mastodon.social/@daringfireball/116213341393007807 Ha just two days ago I figured this out to include keyboard shortcuts consistently in @aphera tooltips. Some truly wonderful information in the referenced post and Apple docs.

We released SQLiteUndo, built on @pointfreeco's incredible SQLiteData. Consistent undo is a huge part of a great Mac experience, and since @aphera leans heavily on SQLite for storage and observation we wanted undo to *just work* https://github.com/latentco/sqlite-undo

Giving @aphera a little test run after several weeks of work. Imported 250 100 MP files from a GFX 100s, culled and edited a few and exported to share. Feeling fast and smooth all around! The new culling workflow and grid view are such a great upgrade.
