I, controversially, have rather more of an inclination towards "sins of the father" than I probably should. But I don't think it should be controversial to say that if you don't want to be accused of sins of the father, DON'T CONTINUE THE SINS OF YOUR FUCKING FATHER. > After Lula's veto was defeated, several lawmakers loudly chanted freedom and Flavio Bolsonaro - the name of the imprisoned ex-leader's eldest son who has aspiration...

@benroyce@mastodon.social: The question is, though, can Trump convince people into another war on the ground? Because air strikes are one thing, but another war with urban and mountain warfare is a quagmire waiting to happen.

@benroyce@mastodon.social: While I'm not at all sad to see him gone, I don't think that it will ultimately change things for the better in the short- to medium-term, as there will likely be a succession plan in place for another brutal theocrat.

@davidgerard@circumstances.run: There's also the fact that blockchain kind of needs an initial injection of money to even "work" from the perspective of somebody who has swallowed the ancap side of things, whereas the promptfondlers can be sucked in with free samples.

@jhooper@techhub.social @alessandro@mstdn.ca @elasticsoul@mastodon.social: The A-10 is not fit for purpose and the hype behind it has been driven by a faction of cranks called "Reformers" who want to pull things back to the 1950s. The Super Tucano is a better fit for what the A-10 is actually used for.
