I put some beets in my shrimp curry and it turned very red! Quite curious... ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ

The most memorable part of The Deer Hunter for me was always John Williams' Cavatina. Hearing it might have been the point in my life that sparked an interest in the classical guitar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGycDDqBuX8

Protip: ketchup packaging is designed to "accidentally" squirt out more ketchup than you wanted. Put it into one of these and have perfect ketchup forever.

E DUDE ABIDES. I'm pretty sure this graffiti has been here by the lift bridge for about a decade now.

Improvised little potato knishes. They turned out very savoury! ๐Ÿฅ”

Well I dropped my phone today, and it developed some pretty cracks. Thankfully it's under the surface and doesn't affect touch. Setting up USB debug now cause the next time I drop it I might need to operate it without the screen. Lasted a good 5 years though! GG Samsung J7.

8 years ago I made this NES game called Lizard. I never know how to describe it... a quiet game of exploration, with a little bit of difficulty, a little bit of mystery. It was a kind of game I wanted to see more of, and I still look at it fondly. https://rainwarrior.ca/lizard/

I was going through some of my old music stuff and I found this cover of '39 by Queen that I did a while back. It's still my favourite Queen song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc8Snx5_0eA

The weather is just nice enough to start cycling, I think. Today I saw a nice sunset and rainstorm over Lake Ontario. Though I stayed mostly dry, it even started to snow a little bit as I got home. ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Causing much mayhem, dropping drama! Trash Panic on the PS3 had a pretty cool soundtrack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWfcaSTQpoE

Sometimes I remember this dumb YouTube channel I made to post fake GXSCC versions of NES soundtracks with stupid descriptions. I guess I thought it was funny, but I didn't have the stamina to make enough for anyone else to find funny, like, statistically. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l98HnivUU8

One of the rarest items in my NES collection: Beyond the Pins. It's a lovely short adventure/bowling game. It never got a release beyond its initial short run for people willing to gamble on a mystery cartridge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj9V1ZXb9_4

Finally migrated 20 years of old e-mail out of google mail. Feels pretty good. Despite what it says in the image, Google's servers don't feel sadness. I resent when corporate machines whine that we're not paying them enough tribute.

Got tricked into buying this "broccoli rice", which is just chopped broccoli stems? Cooked it, mixed with rice, roux, and spices to make some sort of broccoli risotto, which turned out pretty good.
