  I feel like people have forgotten that ad blockers weren't popular because people just wanted to get something for free, it's because we can't trust ads not to fuck up our computers. If we still just had quiet simple banner ads or sideboard ads, ad blockers wouldn't have gotten as much traction.

  The most disappointing thing about the last ten years is before all this I didn't think I really hated anybody. Bush era fuckers were fuckers but they weren't such a daily part of my life to engender any kind of visceral rage. Now I know exactly what it is to really *hate* a person. Multiple, even.
