All three kids are picky eaters (in very different ways, of course). All three kids eat things they wouldn't touch at home on vacation ๐ค And not just new stuff, it's things we have at home but they refuse to eat as well. What a strange phenomenon. #AreWeThereYetYes

Sometimes I wish I could live a life with less belongings, less STUFF, again. Owning all these things weighs on me, even if I just own them by association with my family. I neither want nor need this many things. (My family, on the other hand, wants to own all the stuff. Yeah.)

Wow. I think I actually managed to explain how to deal with prejudices to my esteemed colleague who was sure HE doesn't have any biases. "Think of it like you have measurement equipment that has a systematic error for some things. That's not good, but you don't have anything else. What do you do, stop measuring? Or look at the relevant cases closely and take the error into account, now that you know it exists?"
