  @lydiaschoch My dog doesn't, but my sister's dog will sometimes just go upstairs, open the door to the bedroom herself, and go to bed. :)

  Got to just under 60% of the editing pass. Despite a migraine. Yay. Now to see if I can sleep at night after having failed several times to nap away the migraine.

  I wonder what it means when, twice in the same night, I dream of being in a car that's driven off a bridge and into water? At least the second time I just woke up. (It means it was Father's Day yesterday, mostly, and I was ignoring my father-related angst, btw.)

  @Lironah My brain was hitting all the highlights: falling into water in a vehicle, trying to manage my dad's health and addiction, my mom falling over, being in control of a vehicle I can't properly steer or stop. The only thing I don't think showed up was missing college classes and trying to find an apartment.

  Editing pass of book complete. I think I got the ending stuff much more into the characters' POVs than it had been, which is part of what was hurting the passages. Now it'll sit "in a drawer" for a week or two, then I'll start the line edit/proofreading pass. Then maybe one more pass where I read it out loud. Meantime I need to find a cover artist who has a better idea than I do about what cover it needs. :)

  26/31 chapters reviewed. Still teared up at the sad part. Hopefully that's a good sign. These two knuckleheads make me smile. I'm hoping they do the same for other people too! :)

  I have passed 56k on my thriller. The protag has just volunteered for the psychic examination that will see whether or not he killed his wife. But because I have a day job, I have to go to bed instead of finishing up the scene! Gah! #AmWriting #WritingCommunity

  I mentioned in sprint planning that I wanted to drop a bit of info on the remaining rewrite tickets. My boss told me not to. The engineers should just know what to do. He sure is acting like he thinks he can do my job better than I can. I hope I can find an exit so I can make him try.
