I tested some solar panels (for your next #MeshCore or #Meshtastic project) so you don't have to. https://brunoarine.com/blog/i-v-curve-of-a-few-solar-panels/

I should be studying and honing my modern #Cpp skills right now. But how can I do that while #Zig's alure is so much stronger? Interview with @andrewrk, Zig's creator. https://youtu.be/iqddnwKF8HQ?si=4BKelZtOYAIwDN0X

I'm going over the "ziglings" (exercises to ease your entry into the #zig language world). I can feel, in slow motion, my neurons flailing their arms in excitement as they learn they have a new favorite programming language.

For some days now, the #lora network in the region has seriously degraded. Almost every repeater became isolated, and the ones that still hold their links noted a degradation of around 8 dB. A question to the experts: could any environmental event cause this? We got a strong temperature inversion lately, but I'm unsure this is the culprit. #meshcore #meshtastic #33cm #hamradio

The #Meshtastic / #MeshCore rivalry is pure nonsense, just like saying that hammers are better than screwdrivers. MT is awesome for adhoc mobile groups and discovering nodes when I'm out and about; MC is perfect for large scale, stationary community meshes. It's never been an either/or thing. This is your tribal brain talking. Free yourself from it and enjoy.

Historical moment for the #meshcore scene in Brazil: we're running some tests before installing repeaters around São Paulo metro area. The towers are so well positioned that we could get a zero-hop link between companion devices 75 km (46 mi) apart. If you're nearby, give it a try! Preset "Australia SA, WA".

#Meshtastic and #Meshcore are the gateway drug. #Reticulum (or something similar) should be the endgame. If we're serious about network resilience and real independence from third-party infrastructure, not just being hobbyist cool, we need a technology-agnostic convergence layer rather than depending on LoRa for everything. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTnYVh7K6xQ
