  Supertonic TTS can now speak various european languages such as bulgarian, croatian, czech, estonian, finnish, french, german, greek, hungarian, latvian, lithuanian, polish, portuguese, slovenian, slovak, spanish, ukrainian and more. The voices sound the same but the accent adapts to the selected language. It's not usefull with a screen reader though. github.com/supertone-inc/super…

  I am trying to contribute slovak translation to some projects using #transifex for coordinating translator work. Transifex has an editor where the screen reader accessibility could be improved, however most of the functionality can be used by combining the keyboard shortcuts with advanced screen reader features. For navigating to previous / next string there are keyboard shortcuts alt+down / alt+up. To copy the source string there is shortcut alt+g / ctrl+g. What I am unable to figure out is...

  There is a domain audio.pub. It's for sale. My initial though was that it's cool to have such a domain name, the price is about $5... This sounded like a nice idea until I have realized I misread the price and it's a premium domain for 5000 dollars. CC @ondrosik

  New version of walkers guide app for android has been released today. Talkback so called accessibility actions are now used for useful context menu actions, there is an ability to report intersections layout and more. walkersguide.org/en/downloads/

  I have found out recently that it's possible to add call recording to modern android versions by using shizuku with some 3rd party apps. The one I like the most is Call recorder by skvalex from callrecorder.skvalex.com/get . Tested on android 16. However this is not yet tested, I'm also thinking it might be doable to repackage the OTA image by adding BCR (basic call recorder) as a system app using github.com/chenxiaolong/avbroo… This sounds kind of scary as I don't want to break se...
