Repaired my Canon Pixma IP2770 by replacing the power supply. Was simple enough to fix and cost me only ₱198 (~$3.22)! Now, I have to buy new ink cartridges. hehe

Replaced fans on my son&#39;s GPU for ₱725 (~$12). We looked up how much his GPU goes for now and it&#39;s around ₱4.8k (~$80) new. I have no idea how much a shop would have charged us to repair it. DIY repair saves me money.

one of my assistant sysadmins alerted me to some trouble running docker inside LXD. it turns out, our LXD install was tracking 6.1/latest, but there were some bug fixes that arrived in later versions, but is in 6/latest (which would install 6.7)!!! hoo boy!

my nonsense project today was adding spotify mode to atari fujinet yail. what it does is make my Atari 800XL display the album art of the currently playing song on my spotify client. in spotify mode, i can also pause, go to previous or next song, control volume all on the Atari.

because i wasn&#39;t getting any work done on atari-spotify-app, I took another route and added a spotify command to YAIL. now I can listen to spotify and display album covers on the #atari8bit. #fujinet and #spotify premium needed.

Working on some small patches to the #atari800 emulator. In particular, fixing some small nits in SDL2 stuff that don&#39;t quite work the same way as they did with SDL1.2. Some of these are minor, but wading through the code to figure out what is going on and what might have caused the problems is part of what makes this fun. #retrocomputing
