  Have been caught up lately, doing good things but alternately busy and tired, sometimes both. Took these pics on the way to an appointment in town yesterday. The creek/stormwater drain level was lower than usual when i walked past (maybe a lower tide - it's close to the harbour), exposing a heap of oysters who'd decided urban life was for them. #NewcastleNSW #oysters

  Day 12 after the surgery. Improving a little more each day. Surgery incisions healing nicely but the area around is still too sensitive to wear anything that sits on the waist. T-shirt nighties for the win! Continue to sleep on the powered recliner in the lounge room. Sleep segmented but supplemented with nanna naps. Not clear to drive for a couple more days but not sure the body will be ready till the weekend.
