  Finally I managed to rebuild #caddy web server for trixie-backports. It missed an update in bookworm and recently was updated in sid. In addition to the number of build dependencies that needs rebuils, the biggest challenge was circular build dependencies that needs to be bootstrapped. google-cloud google-grpc google-api and google-genproto all needs to go together as none it can be built on trixie alone. It took a few weeks of continuous effort to finally succeed. #debian #FreeSoftware

  Good way to start new year, I could do a #UPI scan and pay on my #librem5 with 100% #FreeSoftware. Camera app millipixels suddenly started working and it supports detecting QR codes too! Earlier I had to type the address manually and it used to time out (I was also switching to 2G only mode to make sure USSD goes through earlier, but noticed I don't need to do that manually) .   I can use #UPI again after a month of breakage. Switching linked bank account to ICICI helped, though Federal bank also started working when I switched back to it again from ICICI later. So not sure what broke in between. I had to add a non mobile number upi id after switching banks each time. This is the 100% #FreeSoftware way of using #UPI.
