The network effects make it sticky but the US has been amazing at exporting it’s culture, social media amplifies that, and right now that culture is a bit fascisty with a hint of freedom stopping regulation of the rich and misleading.   personally I wouldn’t even call it clunky. The current headline misleads about grok and has the wrong focus (the guy did a lot of bad shit and a small portion of that included some actions on grok which are being audited)

LLMs are known untrustworthy so need a validation step so they aren’t a great fit for any automation you don’t look at unless you don’t really care about the outcome What would work here is a browser API for cookie settings.
