  Re Amy's response to @james "Creators don’t need podcast apps to get a cut." Sure then. Go build your own app, hosting provider and a search engine while you're at it, with your own funds. Then you'll get the transparency you insist you are owed. My labor isn't free.

  I now have my own podcast database, started building it Nov of last year, just finished the last bit of work today. Think twice before doing this. I have a whole new level of respect for sir @dave!

  @james @algrid @merryoscar I plan on adding a shim of sorts, and extra param that will just change the format to match this spec. This is high up on my todo list.

  We just deployed our boost-meta service for Podcast Guru, the app will go into beta using it very soon. But it's a REST service where you can retrieve payment stats + TLV details via a simple GET request. I've been working in isolation too much and wasn't really aware that everyone else was trying to solve this problem too. Will consider our own API / endpoint alpha state and hopefully we'll all coalesce on a working standard.

  FYI - we turned on our feed-ingester, pulling feeds as the come in via podping, so if you see our user agent banging your servers you'll know who it is.

  Finally made a couple updates to our boost server. The links will now look nice if you load them in a browser (accept text/html vs application/json) https://boost.podcastguru.io/boost/KhrpuJh7 And for @james if you append ?format=boostbox it does what you'd expect (returns json in the boostbox format).
