    @levelbot How do I get job as brioche tester?

  • Post #3212963

    @MissingThePt I’m sure it was just a phase …

  • Post #3212962

    @ElleGray I noticed that!!

    @levelbot Clearly some of us are pulling down the average!

    @futurebird I’m EE. Best class ever was chem engineering. At start of class was a problem on board. Couldn’t read it, too many new words. It was the homework. OMG!! I’ll flunk. Class proceeds point by point. By end we looked back at problem - trivial - simple example. Best experience with seeing myself learn. Don’t have book for you, but hope you find it. If not, why don’t you write it!

    @OldAndCranky where there is life, there is hope… not much mind you, but some hope.

    @coffeepine@beige.party FWIW: got over worst ‘cold’ I ever had couple weeks ago. Started with sore throat. Hope that’s not what you’ve got.

  • Post #3212957

    @programming_quotes of course - otherwise you’d never start!

  • Post #3212956

    @OldAndCranky yeah - if you take a nap you’ll feel better!

    #seldomcrisis American is headed for a Seldon crisis. Can’t wait for Harry to pop out of vault and tells us what it was all about.

    Am I wrong? Are we essentially Germany in the 1930’s?

  • Post #3212953

    @zalasur He doesn’t even have to spell it right.

  • Post #3212952

    @tomiahonen Hope that is correct.

  • Post #3212951

    @CatherineFlick True. Frighteningly and alarmingly scary. Germany in the 1930s.

    @StillIRise1963 The idea and ideal of America was never fully realized … and now I fear it never will be.

    @OldAndCranky Hmm - last time I recall that a utterly fascist regime took over a country (largely with the popular consent) it was stopped simply by having most of the rest of the world bomb the living crap out of them. I think only ~60 million died. Maybe we’re headed to same place.

    @outofosthofen@mastodon.social @StillIRise1963 @Breathe @RiaResists A younger me thought the world had learned its lesson. Clearly was too naive. I’m sad for American and anyone that has any connection to or whose family ever were immigrants. … which is everybody except native Americans and they’re not safe either.
