Yesm Every one in awhile someone marvels at a particularly good AI answer. Even back in the days when the scam was the first chess robot, those moments were a sign that the “secret backdoor to let a real human take control” was in effect. But nobody reads history, so they’reb just amazed. That output is from this guy named Sandeep. His work situation is stupid now. But yes, he’s a great programmer.

Yes. Epstein taught us it’s also about running a large scale kidnapping and rape organization. I sound like a broken record, but today, we need to be wary that very few of the Epstein class are proven to be innocent of being complicit in child abduction and rape. Maybe that’s always been the case? I know the history of the ultra rich has never been nice. Anyway I find it an important perspective when deciding how much to trust the rest of the messages out of the Epstein class.

I just want to highlight this, “The fact that he thinks typing out new code took so much effort basically means that he was never a decent programmer.” Grear point! This is a critical insight. Like during the dotcom boom, new tools mean new people can program the computer who could not, before. And just like during tht dotcom boom, they’ll soon find out that programming a computer - while very slightly easier than it was last year - still has challenges.

    That’s a risk I’m willing to take.

That’s fair. I also wouldn’t wish serious Excel work on my worst enemy. But I understand someone has to do it, or the nightmare realm could escape the cell borders.

The magic words I use are, “Oh! This isn’t Linux. I’m not sure how to use these, anymore.”

Yes. When I leave a cool shadow, the middle finger will be raised to salute the dead ashes of the assholes who thought plugging AI into weapons was a good line to cross. And someday my ashes will be absorbed into some other living thing. And whatever it is, that living thing will find their ashes and take a steaming dump on them in honor of the lost memory of their stupidity.

Yes. Great point. I do try to give each game a test run before I schedule a group of friends to play it together. I guess I did that on Windows, as well. When I was a big windows gamer the result tended to just be it works or it doesn’t, on my current hardware. But maybe that’s just gaming today. I think we have better optimization options, in general, now. I’m not sure when things changed, as my journey was Windows PC Gamer to console gamer to SteamDeck to Linux PC gamer. I think PC gamin...
