“Zero token flows” – data flows that don't require any LLM intervention, yet work fully automatically

This is pretty cool: @sovtechfund has a CfP open for people who want to be funded to work on standards: https://www.sovereign.tech/programs/standards Would be more than pleased to support applications to help out in the W3C groups on TREE hypermedia, RDF Stream Processing (I’m working on RDF Messages there), RDF1.2, ODRL, DPV, Dataspaces, Knowledge Graph Construction, Linked Web Storage, or JSON-LD. Ping me if interested!

We’re one week before the #trusttriggers event we’re organizing at De Krook in Ghent! We’ll dive into EU-wide digital identity through 3 use cases: water quality, digital product passports, and local council decisions. Registrations: https://trustflows.eu/events/2026/04/trust-triggers-1/

Standardization isn’t something you can just throw effort at and expect it to deliver. I often compare it to writing a hit song: being good helps, having a great marketing strategy helps, timing helps, having some funding helps, and so on. Creating the standard is often just the last step once we already agree on 90% of it. Don’t equate #interoperability with #standardization. The process of creating interoperable solutions involves so much more.

Today we’re welcoming Flanders’ top researchers in Data and AI in Ghent for the closing event of #SolidLab. Where we’re continuing the community under a new name, #Trustflows. We’re still working on #interoperability, but we’re now adding #legalcompliance and #trust as major drivers. Trustflows continues the mission we started with Solid. Want to know more? Take a look at the website: https://trustflows.eu

There’s a tension between being semantically rich (using your own terms and definitions), and being semantically aligned, in which you try to reuse terms from other vocabularies. I think we need a new concept: eventual #interoperability. I propose to start rich with your own vocabularies, and only make alignments when there’s a concrete reason for building those. https://pietercolpaert.be/interoperability/2026/01/08/eventual-interoperability #knowledgegraphs #apis #linkeddata #semantics

Scholarly archives blocking access to AI agents is not what I want as an author: I paid publishers to archive and make available my paper as open access, that certainly includes making sure that an LLM can take into account my paper when answering an expert’s question...

With the #Trustflows community, we’re launching #TrustTriggers: A new event series combining a cross-domain Trustflows topic, a long networking break, and 3 concrete use cases. First edition: 20 April at De Krook in Ghent. With curator @besteves4 hosting a discussion on the EUDI with invited keynote speaker Jan Lindquist. We’ll also discuss use cases such as DPP, local council decisions, and trigger in the water domain. Program and registration: https://trustflows.eu/events/2026/04/trust-...
