Nice, Looks like this went very well: https://social.coletivos.org/@maryjane/116538102756306755 (we should patch the camera app to use the cutouts protocol (https://ruhr.social/@agx/115679301210707018) so it can blend behind the top bar too)

With some #wireplumber changes landing we're a big step closer to enabling separate volume controls for things like media, alerts, alarms, etc. in #Phosh. Here's a short overview on the current state: https://phosh.mobi/posts/role-based-routing/ #LinuxMobile

Apart from under the hood changes to brightness and auto-brighness in #Phosh that landed for 0.51 there's also now an indication when auto brightness is active and @arunmani added a toggle to settings so you can quickly turn it on and off. When auto-brightness is on the slider now also acts as offset to the calculated value. We have some more tweaks scheduled but that likely will happen in the 0.52 cycle. #LinuxMobile

Our development summary for March is up: https://phosh.mobi/posts/development-news-2026-03/ . It's a bit shorter this time as several of your project members were busy with non-coding things like preparing CLT2026 and some paperwork we can hopefully talk about soon.
